The beauty of Love

The world as we know it can be a very dark and lonely place, there is war, famine, poverty, murder and a lot more without going too deeply and depressingly into it. But. Through all of this darkness and pain, there is the one thing that can bring people together. It doesn’t care of race, it doesn’t care for different or same sex, it doesn’t care for age, religion or vanity. For when love finds you no matter who you are, it will change the way you are. It is the most powerful gift we possess. To be able to love. Love can lift the world up and at the same time, bring the strongest person to their knees.

It doesn’t come in only the form of two people loving each other, or marrying, maybe having a family. It can be as simple as you’re best friend, the one person who you can always rely on to give you advice and be there for a shoulder to cry on when you need it. It could be your ever faithful pet, the one thing in your life that doesn’t care about what you look like or what colour skin you are. It can even be walking back home on a cold winters night and seeing a homeless woman shivering on the street, going to the coffee shop across the street and buying her some warm food to get her through the night.

These are just a few examples of how beautiful you, and the world can be even in the darkest of times there is always that small beacon of hope, that feeling deep in your stomach that makes us human. Without love is a world with no existence, a world with not people but vessels carrying the cold hearts of the barely living, as without love, you cannot live.

Love comes in all shapes and sizes. Each and every one of us is entitled to love who we want, Love tends to find you when you least expect it. That’s the beauty of it all. When everything seems at its worst. One simple emotion can change your whole world in an instant.
